Colt Canadian & British Lend Lease Mfg. 1943 Serial No. 938261 Condition 98% Note this gun is in Remington Serial No range Colt Duplicated 60,000 guns in their assigned range. Very Rare variation first went to Canada and marked “Arrow in Circle” then sent to England with British Proof marks “Crowns” then brought home by some GI to America. This is a very rare variation one of 1500 guns sent to Canada then a few sent to England.........Call for details 
 
 
Colt 45 Mfg. 1912 Serial No. 469 This is a very Rare Early Gun one of the first 500 made for the Army. Some of the first guns went to the Calvary.  This three digit gun is of the 2 million 800-thousand 45 ACP made for military service. This is one of the first 500 made. The serial number is stamped in front of the trigger guard first 10,000 guns. It has the early fire blue parts. SOLD
 
 
      Colt 45 Mfg. 1914 Serial No. 66024 Early Colt in good condition all correct parts. This gun has the 1911 Patent date on the slide and has the lanyard tow tone Magazine that stopped later in 1914. SOLD

Colt 45 Mfg. 1917 Serial No. 209781 USMC (United States Marine Corp.): 80-85% condition with USMC Holster belt and magazine pouch marked USMC. This is a true Marine Corp. issued and hard to find in any shape. Keep in mind Maine corp. pistols was issued to Marines in certain serial no. ranges this is how they are deemed Marine corp. guns. There is no difference from Army issued pistols. Marine corp. pistols bring a large premium in the collecting world.
This pistol has a hostler marked USMC on flap and USMC marked magazine holders and a USMC marked medical pouch. This rig is very rare.  SOLD
 
 
Colt 45 Mfg. 1917 Serial No. 216192 92% condition this was in a lot of 400 guns that was bound for USMC Marine Corp. but because it was need for Army use at last minute it was change to Army issues. This is documented in C.W. Clawson’s book Service Pistol 45 ACP Models 1911 & 1911 A1 page # 122......... SOLD
 
 
Colt Navy Mfg. 1939 Serial No. 714021: Condition 97%. This gun was made in very limited quantities 3,636 were made for the Navy. They have M1911A1 stamped on frame next to US property stamp and above trigger guard. Only marked on slides are Colt horse’s logo and Patton dates no stamping marks on other side. Note blue finishes stopped at about serial number 738,000. All blue finished A1 models bring a premium because of finish. ...SOLD

       Remington Mfg. 1943 Serial No. 91867X Exceptional Condition First Logo (First few thousand guns) very  hard to find this Remington the logo is all in large letters and “New York” in logo is written out in full. SOLD

     Remington Mfg. 1943 Serial No. 9580XX Condition 98% Second Logo this means the makers stamp was large letters with the word NY abbreviated. Early Remington and will bring a premium over third logo Remington pistols. SOLD
 
   Ithaca Mfg. 1943 Serial No 869459: Condition 98% Special note the frame of this gun was made by colt for the First World War noted by the “H” inspectors mark at top of frame when disassembled. It was sent to Ithaca as one of 6,500 frames to be used for the contract. This gun also has the same “Silesia” stamps on trigger guard. This means it was an occupation gun used after the Second World War in that area. . This was an occupation gun that was used after the war and was used by the West German Police. Silesia was a Province in Germany.  This is a unique variation.  SOLD
 
 
   Ithaca Mfg. 1943 Serial No 8753XX: Exceptional Condition very early Ithaca that has a leather presentation box that was made for it. SOLD
 
 
  Ithaca Lend Lease Mfg. 1943 Serial No. 1443487 Extremely sharp clean with return marks from England. In 1954 this gun was in a lot returned from the Government of England to America. SOLD
 
  
   Remington Mfg. 1943 Serial No. 9678XX Condition 97% Second Logo this means the makers stamp was large letters with the word NY abbreviated. Early Remington. This pistol has two stars stamped on frame in recoil spring well. This some times means that pistol was sent for rework during mfg. process at factory. Special Note: The frame and slide are “G” marked this means these are colt parts give to Remington for start up. SOLD
 
 
       Remington Rand Mfg. Ser No.1509XXX was Mfg. 1944 Serial NO range. Note a third issue logo (Small Letters). This is a war time production. Lager “NO.” is marked before serial number. SOLD
 
 
       Remington Mfg. 1945 Serial No. 20598XX: Condition 92% this gun is a third issue logo all small letters. What makes this gun rare is the make on the trigger guard the word “Silesia” stamped there. This was an occupation gun that was used after the war and was used by the West German Police. Silesia was a Province in Germany.  Few of these guns have been encountered in America. SOLD
 
 
     Remington Mfg. 1943 Serial No ERRS 27 Experimental (ERRS means Experimental Remington Rand Series). This gun came from a trip I took to Syracuse NY. These guns were used to make mfg. improvements then most were given to company employee upon retirement. Their were less then 150 “ERRS” guns made, very few were in the Blue. Note the numbers are hands stamped because they were notes to be used for filling military contract. This gun is blue finish most were parkerized finished but because it is an Experimental no absolutes right or wrong can be determined. SOLD
 
 
     Colt New York National Guard Mfg. 1950 Ser. No. 24700XC With documentation these gun were made for the New York National Guard when there guns were taken for the Korean war. There were 250 guns that say “Property of New York” on slide 25 was destroyed and 225 were sold into the Public sector.

Once Owned by Author Sutherland he & Wilson combined to write the first issue Colt book. The gun was sold to another Author Douglas Sheldon from the Sutherland's estate. Finally now owned by a third Author in the North-East.

This is Documented from Mr. Sheldon.
